As a native New Englander, this play felt like family to me. I felt like I knew each and every one of these characters, and of course saw so many glimpses of my teenage self in the young, hopeful characters...while also feeling the weariness of the older ones. The play honors the spirit of Our Town, but it is in conversation with it rather than simply derived from it. I cannot wait to see this come to life on stage.

A beautiful, poetic, and haunting play about the bond between siblings, wanting to know more about the universe, and the reality of being human on a dying planet. I was so compelled right from the jump - especially with the central question of do we try to save the planet we live on now, or cut our losses and start over again somewhere else? The subject matter is haunting, current, and vital - and this play deftly navigates the reality of climate change without being overly political or preachy. PRODUCE IT!

Holy crap, this play this play THIS PLAY. DO THIS PLAY. The last page filled me with tears and hope and rage and joy - seeing so many women/nb/trans folx I know represented made my heart swell and hurt. I don't have much to add that hasn't already been covered, except that this is necessary, incendiary work.

I loved this play. I was captivated by the urgent situation and the two strong women at the helm of this story, and the poetic language and imagery of the North Midwestern landscape painted a clear picture of the world in my mind. It also brings up the timely issue of refugees without preachiness or easy answers. I hope I can see a production of this moving play in New York soon!

It is sadly rare to find an excellent play with an all female cast (and over the age of 30!), and this fits the bill. I know David's work well and this has all of the hallmarks of his work - strong characters, a sharp wit, and an empathic heart - but this is shaping up to be a favorite. The women in this play are complex and compelling. The exploration of sisterhood is deep and moving. The last lines of the play are gutting in the best way. This should be produced.

Pulp Verite is a compelling, harrowing story of grief, humanity and memory, and seamlessly weaves in the complex issue of Syria and our current politics to create a portrait of what humans try to do in the face of loss and trauma. This should be produced immediately.

I had the privilege of developing this play with Lisa in the Mission to (dit)Mars Propulsion Lab. FIDDLERS is a family drama and an uproariously funny comedy all in one, where Lisa explores weighty subjects like the Israel/Palestine conflict with humor and pathos. The last scene of the play is one of the most delightfully off the rails endings ever, in the best way. This play should be produced.

This play is an absolutely fantastic adaptation of Oedipus Rex. It is queer focused and highly theatrical, with moments that make you gasp and cringe (in the best way). Jason has a real command of this narrative, and does not look away from the intensity of the subject matter. It has stayed with me.

I was privileged to be in the room with Mrinalini while she developed this play. It is a timely, touching, and humorous examination of friendship, parenthood, and the very frightening possibility that we are losing more rights than we are gaining.
