Very punny! The humor in this piece is concise and hilarious, from the food-related euphemisms to the battle over cultural superiority.

Absolutely hilarious! Who knew that interspecies love could be so beautiful, moving, funny, and of course, weird. Scott Stolnack does a great job balancing the familiar aspects of a relationship, like disapproving parents, with those that are more unique to this particular couple, such as their mating habits.

I saw this play at ACT in 2022 and absolutely loved it. The ways in which the two couples lives intersect and collide are exquisitely portrayed. The script touches upon a myriad of socio-political issues -- the U.S. military industrial complex, intersectionality, and inter-racial relationships, to name a few -- without ever veering toward didactic or preachy language. Bonus, I learned a lot about modern Egypt!
