Creating art wherein the ultimate goal for me is to help people feel more empathy, and therefore to feel less alone. To keep those who have died....alive.
How I am impacted by theatre and how I impact and change others through the use of my talent is a key element to my pursuing my creativity with writing. I have been a performer for over 40s year and now I am adding to my playwrighting to my roster of creative outlets. I have written in the past in prose and have had my writings published. Through my years and experiences I have come to witness and believe that theatre is a forum where we stop our lives long enough to reflect them and those of others.
The very fact that humanity is at the absolute center of theatre in tangible flesh and blood terms --means that there is intrinsic beauty in that art-form because the human form, human voice and human ability to imagine stories (and their repercussions) is the essence of art!
