JIM BINZ is a Vietnam veteran (U. S. Army) whose plays include An Evening With God,
Jack and Jill, The Beast, The Mall Food Court Women’s Group, Queasy and more. His
work has been produced by the Veteran’s Repertory Theater, the LaRoche College
Drama Club, the Carnegie-Mellon University School of Drama and the Shaler/North Hills
Library Act Out group. He is a member of the Playwright’s Center and the Dramatist
Guild. He earned his B. A. in English from LaRoche College in 1977 and his M.F.A. in
Playwriting from Carnegie-Mellon University School of Drama in 1979. He followed a
varied career path for over forty years including auto mechanic, electric motor repair,
sales, non-profit executive and Field Director for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. In
January 2023, Jim began writing plays again...

table near an outlet most days. Jim is married to Cynthia and has 2 grown children and
2 beautiful granddaughters.
