  • David Lee White: LOVE AND COMMUNICATION

So glad James Christy has made this play available here! Passage Theatre produced this a few years ago and it did very well. It's a rather shocking, funny and ultimately very hopeful play about the lengths two people will go to in order to make sure their autistic son gets a good education. Some very dark humor but also painfully honest. Highly recommended.

  • David Lee White: Skin and Bone

This is wonderfully grotesque dark comedy that somehow manages to be quite touching. All of Goldfinger's works are worth exploring. She has her own brand of Southern Gothic that she explores over and over again but always manages to find something new to say. Well worth your time.

  • David Lee White: Donna Orbits the Moon

Another wonderful Ian August play and a really nice solo showcase for an actress. Saw the wonderful production at NJ Rep a few years ago which we brought down to present at Passage Theatre. Very funny and very moving.

  • David Lee White: The Gun Show

My other favorite EM Lewis play (the other is TRUE STORY). A wonderfully honest piece that also deconstructs the idea of a one-person show.

  • David Lee White: True Story

Can't say enough good things about this play. One of my favorite productions of the past several years. It's thrilling, thought-provoking, mysterious, witty and unexpectedly moving.

  • David Lee White: UNPROTECT TEXT (formally The Text of Sex)

Heard this play at Passage Theatre's Play Lab reading series. Really well-conceived characters. Very compelling (and occasionally very funny) and goes places you don't quite expect. I like Kushner's writing a lot.

  • David Lee White: EGYPTIAN SONG

This is a beautiful, devastating play. I've read it multiple times and I've seen a couple of readings. It deserves a full production. It's a haunting, frightening piece of work.

  • David Lee White: A GREAT WAR

Great writer. I highly recommend! I just saw a stellar production of this play at the Philly Fringe. It's a superb piece of work that deserves to be widely produced.
