An interesting take on gun violence and how it affects the innocent. What would Jesus do? That's a good question for the survivors and one we all need to ask if affected by this crisis.

So much humanity in this moving monologue! It takes us on an emotional journey filled with warmth, humor, and a realization of our limitations. It addresses two very current issues: gun violence and humanity of catholic priests. Beautiful!

A fresh and insightful take on a story we all know. I was fortunate enough to direct of a reading of this play and was happily stunned by how deeply O'Grady sees into the story of Lazarus, not the miracle of it, but the very human feeling that prompts the miracle. She then makes this relevant for our protagonist, and for us too. A moving, wonderful play!

O'Grady has created a rich character, who is fully realized with honesty and complexity. This monologue has warmth, humor and profundity and would be a great addition to any program about gun violence.

What a beautiful and moving tribute written as part of the CodeRed/Faith project. Aptly titled for all of us who are just that, human, and we are all so thankful each day for another day and more time, but it's in those moments of tragedy that the real soul of the human is exposed and Rob's speech is filled with such raw emotion and heartbreak and with that last line you want to wrap your arms around the world to protect it with love.

A stunning monologue. Grady takes us on a dynamic journey, heartfelt and encompassing, infusing this poignant moment with humanity and — So rare in pieces in reaction to societal issues — Genuine humor. This piece would be an emotional anchor in a staging of plays against gun violence. What a gift.
