Recommendations of The Deal - 10 Minute Play

  • Enid Cokinos: The Deal - 10 Minute Play

“The Deal” by Ryan Kaminski is an intriguing short play set in the deep south in the 1950s. Several twists kept me wondering how it would turn out and I loved that Vivian had the upper hand in the end.

  • David Lipschutz: The Deal - 10 Minute Play

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this dark comedy-horror short. It felt reminiscent of an episode of "The Twilight Zone" or "Tales from Crypt" with its original and unexpected twists.

  • Kate Danley: The Deal - 10 Minute Play

What a deliciously delightful wicked little play! Filled with Twilight Zone twists and turns, what starts off as a simple meeting over lemonade switches into something else all together. Clean enough to be performed by high school on up, yet so sophisticated and smart. A really gem!

  • Jack Levine: The Deal - 10 Minute Play

RYAN KAMINSKI is a talented playwright, and his “THE DEAL - 10 MINUTE” play is a sci-fi worth reading. I was intrigued from the beginning of the play - so wanting to guess the ending. But, I was surprised with a nice twist and satisfying take on the consequences of a deal with the Devil. Nicely done!

  • John Busser: The Deal - 10 Minute Play

Oh, how Twilight-Zone-esque! This is a delightfully twisted piece with a familiar story getting turned on its ear. I loved the way the story plays out making you think it's going one way and then lowering the boom at the end. Perfect for a night of one acts!
