I love the intimacy, immediacy and danger of theater. The experience of having a live audience laugh at my words or be completely involved is one I treasure. I enjoy working with actors and look forward to the collaborative nature of production. My work sometimes includes choreographed movement. The common denominators throughout all genres in which I write are strong characters, close attention to language and complex relationships. I want the audience to be taken on an entertaining, involving trip when they see one of my plays.
