A chilling and realistic encounter that pits activists and former activists over the lengths to which they will go to secure the release of men imprisoned at Guantanamo. In this short play Patricia captures the tensions between them, shines a light on their shared histories and the sacrifices, large and small, that they are willing to make. Well done!

Delightful play that brought many smiles. Loved the twist at the end that made me cheer hoorah for women, for Lucy who started out questioning her intent to be independent and who rallied the troops when they felt beseiged. Great job, Emma!

You know this play will be unpredictable when the actors take their bows during the opening lines instead of at the conclusion because, well, "life's uncertain." 10 year old Tatiana, for example, is eloquent despite living in a garbage dump. Hanif will have you scratching your head at the notion the homeless would need an alarm clock and that it would fetch a large sum on Antiques Roadshow. Heavisides offers running social commentary about the plight of the homeless and their interactions with one another that is insightful, sometimes sad as well as comic. A fresh spin on familiar songs.
