  • Rene Zabel: How Do You Know

What a funny and poignant play. A true depiction of the anxiety and stress with an upcoming baby. I really enjoyed it. I felt every second of it. The dialogue was spot on, you can feel the fear and excitement of having a baby for the first time.

  • Rene Zabel: S.T.R.A.U.S.S

Rachel has done it again!!! Very smart, makes one think a little about how AI has gotten so pervasive in our society now. This piece is so well written and I loved the mystery twist. Good job!

  • Rene Zabel: Make it quick

Oh wow! I was not expecting that! I want more…the suspense is exquisite. Ryan gets you in the first sentence and doest let you go. Leaves you wanting more!

  • Rene Zabel: Mother Knows Best

I have the pleasure of watching the reading of this piece. Rachel has done it again, with characters you can relate to, even if dead. Her ability to thread comedic zingers is brilliant!!

  • Rene Zabel: Wish I May

I loved this brilliant story. It is very reminiscent of Star Dust, sans the witch. Rachel has a way with story telling that keeps you entertained and riveted to the story. Who else could write a star as the protagonist!

  • Rene Zabel: Everyday Monsters

Oh my goodness! What can I say about this work...I had the pleasure of reading for Timothy, and it took every ounce of control not to fall apart. The story is bold, dark, and heartbreaking. Many in this world have, unfortunately, have attested to the brutality and cruelty of a person such as Douglas. Timothy's revenge is calculated with timely effect. Bravo Don!!

  • Rene Zabel: The Peculiar Puppets of Philip Platt

Oh wow! This is such a poignant piece. So relevant to the world of today, unfortunately.
Benton brings the subject to the forefront in a real human way, even with the puppets. Not everyone can connect to other humans and face their own grief and pain. He made me cry, which is a good thing.

  • Rene Zabel: Your Boy

What a heart wrenching show. The dynamic dialogue at once makes you laugh, then twists your emotions into a heap of knots. Brilliantly written, thank you!

  • Rene Zabel: The Girl in the Mirror

Brilliant! I loved this so much. At only 13 pages, I wanted more. What a turn of events. A must read. I would love to see this on a stage!
