My plays are about love, courage and embracing the complexity of who we are. I am interested in how our emotional lives are impacted by what is happening in our social/political world. My stories take place on struggling farms, in the crumbling Eastern Bloc, in a medieval nightclubs, in a favorite deli. Many travel through memory, imagination and time as they explore characters innermost desires and fears in the context of modern society and politics. What brings us through heartache to a place of courage? What gives us the strength to move through doubt and confusion?
