  • SQUEEK! (copywright October 2015, MADELINE PUCCIONI)
    28 Jul. 2018
I love this play. It’s so witty and dark with such strong characters. Madeline makes a political statement without hitting us over the head with righteous indignation, not an easy feat. It’s funny and scary and really needs to be seen, especially now!
  • The Man Who Wears a Bonnet (a monologue)

A whimsical play which is both funny and profound.
Lee has written a truly original character who has a lot of heart. A great role for an actor who has a spirit of adventure.
  • RENATA: A POST-MATERNITY MONOLOGUE
    5 Jul. 2018
This is an enthralling monologue. Renata has grit and spunk and speaks her truth. There is a powerful rhythm to her speech which reads like urban poetry. A great role for women.
  • Good Bad People
    5 Jul. 2018
Rache Lynett takes a tragic topic out of today's headlines and turns it on its head. This play is refreshingly original. All of the characters are distinctive and flawed. But none of this makes what happened to them any less horrific. A powerful and complex contemporary family drama which needs to be seen.

  • OLD COWBOY CHUCK: A MONOLOGUE FOR A GAY SENIOR

This a heart breaking, yet funny play about a population which is often ignored and mistreated, elderly gay people. Asher really captures the loneliness and pain that Chuck is forced to endure while still holding on to his dignity. This is voice we all need to hear.

I had the pleasure of attending a reading of this play at The Inge Festival. Its power lies in the humanity of his characters. Even the perpetrator of a hate crime is shown to be vulnerable and confused.Plays like this have the power to heal our deepest divisions.
