  • Apples in Winter
    8 Feb. 2019
A profound meditation on the fierceness and complexity of a mother's love for her child no matter what he did, told through the activity of baking an apple pie. This play is suspenseful, visceral and very powerful.
  • SYATP
    6 Feb. 2019
This is a very moving piece about a young woman struggling with her faith after a mass shooting, which lets us into the rare world of revivals. This would be a great addition to any program on gun violence.
  • A SHELL OF WHO SHE ONCE WAS
    3 Feb. 2019
This moving play has a lot of dramatic tension and a surprise ending. Full of passion and suspense, it would be a great asset to any program on gun violence.

  • BROTHERS
    3 Feb. 2019
This lovely play shows the sweetness of these two brothers and their relationship and it foreshadows with subtly what’s about to occur. A heartbreaking and tender piece which would be an asset to any program on gun violence.
  • Velas Votivas

This character really drew me in. I loved the dramatic tension created by him switching between facing the altar and the congregation. His journey towards the priesthood and the parallel between this Marta and his aunt were quite moving. This is a reflective and meditative piece, which would be a great asset to any program on gun violence.
  • Only Human

O'Grady has created a rich character, who is fully realized with honesty and complexity. This monologue has warmth, humor and profundity and would be a great addition to any program about gun violence.
  • Being Wendy Wasserstein - A monologue
    3 Feb. 2019
This monologue is full of all of the honest soul searching, humor and chutzpah that belonged to the fabulous Wendy Wasserstein. As Curry so eloquently states, she did create characters that sounded like us. And when I heard Wendy's characters speak, I too decided to write a play. This can be a great introduction of her life and work to a new generation.
  • Turn On, Tune In
    2 Feb. 2019
An absurd and funny satire which skewers both the generation gap and the drug culture, with four juicy roles. Witty and suspenseful.
  • FAWZIE: A HOTEL CHAMBERMAID MONOLOGUE
    30 Jan. 2019
Wow! This a breathtaking play, so full of life and passion, I had to remind myself that there was only one character. She is rich, funny, and complex. Fawzie is my hero! Any actress would adore this role. I would love to see this produced. A real gem.
  • Something True
    30 Jan. 2019
This work at first glance appears to be just a playful look at games people play, but it alludes to a much darker and more profound issue of what actually is truth, an important question for today. Engaging and thoughtful.
