I am a feminist playwright concerned with social issues and interpersonal relations and everything I write shows a sense of humor. I've written about lesbians in the military, the birth of the Women's Building in San Francisco, a Spiritualist church in San Francisco lead by a woman, Detroit and my days in a Berkeley commune. These are my full-length plays. I've also written 3 short plays and a few performance pieces which have been produced and published. I love the collaborative aspects of theater and blending past and present moments of our lives in the larger political context, which requires compassion and laughter.
