I dig the rhythm of this monologue that captures the feeling of the whole she's dug herself into. She clearly wants our sympathy but the subtleties Syran has included makes me wonder about her...

King creates a personable voice which is very effective for a psychic. Not wanting to know about their own future and the section about the rope makes me want to believe them, so I guess I'm keeping that red dress in the closet, because... why tempt fate?

Epic! A piece of art on the page. I loved getting to know each character. The adult characters were just too much in the best way. And werewolves! Kissing as punctuation will stick with me for a long time.

Poetic and even more breathtaking as time goes on.

Having been a film studies minor in undergrad, I wish Mabel Normand's name rang a bell before reading Hoke's script, because Hoke's script makes it clear, Normand she deserves it. Hoke takes us on an in depth journey into the Female Chaplin's life and career in this one-person show. Capturing her personality, her relationships and history with a deviceful use of props, Hoke pays excellent tribute to this cinema great.

A new story told well about how people get their traits. A nice story that seems like a nice dream.

Silly mythological fun! Quick wit, back and forth between Minos and Sisyphus makes this an enjoyable addition to any short play festival. And for those who may not get all the mythological references (which are great) , everyone is sure to relate to the struggle of work/life balance!
