Gutwrenching with a beautiful twist. What Swenson does here masterfully is lure you in and keep you engaged so that when the twist is finally revealed, it is completely shocking. A lovely piece of theatre that will capture the hearts of any reader or audience.

This is absolutely terrifying! I was waiting for the twist, but wow that was something. Rachel Feeny-Williams really created such a wonderful and scary piece. I'm genuinely at a last for words over that ending. Such a strong way to end a piece.

I feel like it would be unfair of me to say anything else in this recommendation other than this is one of the funniest and most relatable pieces of theatre I have ever read.

Fall is my favorite time of year. Halloween starts in May (who am I kidding, I celebrate all year). Miranda Jonte perfectly describes how I feel about this time of year. Thank you for being the words I need to describe the perfect time of year!

Brilliant. Plays are always more fun when you know the people being written about and the joke that is presented. This is so fun and I'm glad this moment in history will be remembered by the great, Christopher Plumridge. Thanks, Chris, for the laugh!

What good, fantastic, just well-rounded Halloween fun. A great comedy that pokes fun at some classic characters and stories!

Reading any play by Evan Baughfman is always a treat. This is a perfect comedy to balance all the spookiness of the season. I love the characterizations of these classic horror icons, and with the recent strikes, this is extremely topical.

There are several playwrights that I turn to when I am working on a horror play. Christopher Soucy is one of them. This play has so many twists and turns that you won't stop until the play is over. You can't help but root for the demise of this character and feel for this ghost. Brilliant work!

I can imagine sitting in my room in the dark listening to this as an audio drama trying to scare myself... and man would I succeed. Jillian Blevins creates an absolute masterclass in horror storytelling. This piece has it all: slow burn, tension, twist ending. The stage directions on the last page are just to die for.
