Wow. This piece was great. The meta aspect forces the audience to see what a "newcomer outsider" would feel while trying to fit the mould and say the right thing. Although there's no danger per se... It still feels dangerous if Mina continues to say the wrong things. And, as one does in HS, Mina wonders which reality is true and questions who's being real with her.

Wow. What a great piece. Beasley seamlessly travels through time in this romantic Russian censorship comedy. Bone Records pulled me in and held me tight from beginning to end. I was enthralls both by the romance and the underground music trade. I would love to see this live. Beasley has written a piece with solid stage directions and great use of space. Meaning, this is easily producible and sure to bring in a crowd.

Heartbreaking, intriguing, and well researched. From the beginning I felt a connection with our actors that only grew throughout the story. This piece shows an in-depth and layered experience of those affected by wartime and starvation. As a writer, I loved the stage directions. Fuller does a fantastic job of assisting us in visualizing the piece. I only read it but I still have the sense that I saw it live on stage. That coupled with the single set and fair sized cast, I imagine this would be easily produced with the result being a stunning performance.

Satie does an impeccable job of creating a family we believe is real. Their hopes and fears drove the story so well that I felt as if I was hearing them in real time. Others have pointed out that reading this piece feels like seeing a live production: I can attest to that. This play is one that I sincerely hope to see live on stage one day. With just one reading I already feel intimately knowledgable about the Kaminski's... I hope they are doing well.

Light-hearted, meaningful, and easily producible. I'd like to see this live and be in the moment with Milton, Jesus, and cheese... at 3 a.m.

Well done. Good laughs. I hope an audience in a 'nice neighborhood' gets to see this one day.

Wow. Well done. Bircher does a fantastic job with the realest common sense about the circle of life. Both characters were relatable and this show could be produced with 2 shovels and some dirt or a whole prison landscape. Nice work; I hope to see it live.

This play is hilarious, then... Damn. I was laughing and felt at home and then the mood quickly shifted. This sort of mood switch is the exact feeling many people look out for every day and forcing the audience to feel it... It's perfectly timed and it's hard. I hope to see this live one day. Well done.

A fantastic piece, and with only two characters! I loved the changing relationship of the women and the entirety of Earline's process. Hope to see this live one day.
