  • I was lucky enough to see a staged reading of this play at the Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival. A remarkable piece that explores the complicated and painful reality of what happens when old friendships grow apart. Each character is filled with complex humanity and the story delivers a satisfyingly emotional and cathartic gut punch. Highly recommend for college-aged actors/audiences and adults alike - we will all see ourselves in this beautiful story.

  • I love a solo show that's interactive, that blurs the lines between theater and reality and this play elegantly, and often hilariously, does so in droves. A very smart, wildly entertaining use of the form, and a fantastic role for an actress to sink into.

  • Absolutely fantastic. A true modern-day king Lear.

  • Absolutely love this solo show - what a complicated ride. Dave is able to layer large ideas and heavy themes in such an intimate and elegant manner. I couldn't stop reading. Highly, highly recommend, one of the best solo shows I've ever read.

  • This is such a smart, sharp, hilarious and heartbreaking play. Poignant, timely, absurd, it is deserving of attention. I hope to see this play produced in the future, very soon.

  • Gina Femia: the quiet part

This play is pure genius. It broke my heart and made me feel alive. A play about all the things we can't say, and all the things we do. Highly recommend.

  • Gina Femia: a life of luxury

Such a huge fan of this play - an ingenious look at gender and sexuality through the eyes of 1950s platypuses. Like all of Schuett's work, it had me laughing until it pulled my heart out. I would love to see this play on stage - a worthwhile inclusion to any season. Highly recommend!

  • Gina Femia: Bum Bum, or, this farce has Autism

Love this play! Saw it at HERE and fell in love with the characters and their hijinks. I could have spent all day with them. Very funny and a great farce. I hope to see it part of theater seasons all over the country. Highly recommend!

  • Gina Femia: Neighbors

A clever poignant play that captures this moment. Very timely. A perfect addition to any short play festival.

I was lucky enough to see a reading of this play as part of Clamour Theater's Clay and Water Residency. This play is a stunner - a gripping story of a mother and a daughter as they each try to do their best. Fantastic dialogue, breathtaking moments of honesty, an incredibly moving play. Highly recommend - please produce it!
