This one really hits hard. I feel like you spend your youth ignoring your mortality, while getting older is (for some of us) a struggle in acceptance. This powerful piece is a meditation on life, aging and loss. Beautifully drawn, it stays with us long after we are done reading.

This stunning monologue really takes you on a journey inside the characters mind, showcasing all the trials and tribulations that come with age. The resolution is beautifully rendered, a stunning moment of acceptance.

Extremely moving play about the need to move on. To heal. To get better. Jenny and Will have gone through an unimaginable nightmare. It is clear through their dialogue how much they still love each other. Though a very sad play, the ending is filled with hope. Amazing. You must read it!

Very meta and very enjoyable. This clever play highlights some of community theatres greatest hits, while also dealing with the inevitable change of life growing pains inherent in the golden years. Read it. Produce it. Very fun!

Hero worship is a tricky thing. Usually the reality doesn’t match the fantasy. This is a compelling story about the intersection of myth, legend and reality. Even for a 10 minute play, it moves quickly. Every line of dialogue is like a punch to the gut. The characters are real and complicated and tough. Very powerful play. Highly recommend!

You know I really wish death was like it is in plays. This is such a beautiful play and the ending is so moving and full of heart. Even though a big part of this play is about an illness - it’s so much more than that. Believable, heart-warming characters who have a wonderful relationship you will enjoy reading about. Well, I was looking for plays about family and I definitely found a gem. Very complex and layered. The characters draw you in to their individual stories and we are the richer for it. A real treasure!
