  • Dan Taube: THE LESSER LEYENDECKER, a 90-100 minute full-length drama, LGBTQ+ themes

Stunning play! I had the privilege of seeing this play developed in my writers group. It has a lot to say about art and the nature of artists as well as compelling themes of addiction, family and the imagination. Fascinating characters that are neither good nor bad, just strikingly human. Unapologetically theatrical. You can literally see the play as you read it. You definitely should read this play! Highly recommend.

  • Dan Taube: The Doctors Call

Wow. An incredibly powerful impact for just three pages. There is so much humanity in this piece, perfectly realized. I felt for both characters. The doctor has such a difficult job to do and she does it with great care and dignity for her patient. An excellent piece!

  • Dan Taube: Narcissa, Narcissa

An incredibly powerful play about learning to love yourself. I was very moved and inspired by the writing in this piece. I have always loved the myth of narcissus, and this play humanized it in a truly dynamic way. Don't hesitate. Read this play!

  • Dan Taube: Hat Trick

Loved this play! Such an uncomfortable set of circumstances. Makes you wonder what you would do in this situation. Also, you learn so much about the characters in such a short time. Read it. Produce it.

  • Dan Taube: An Endangered Species

What a great short play. I enjoyed the twist at the end very much. Not to mention the great language and archetypal characters. Highly recommend!

  • Dan Taube: Splitting the Check (Ten Minute)

Ooh. Sneaky. Loved the twist in this play. I was so intrigued by these characters and wanting to learn what went down between them that I never saw it coming. Delightful writing. Highly recommend.

  • Dan Taube: MELODIES OF THE PAST - Play One of "The Complete Ten-Minute Play Festival

“Sometimes the value of things isn’t in their price…” I was deeply moved by this play. It’s a story about the importance of stories. And memories. What transpires between these three characters is unforgettable and will stay with me a long time. Highly recommend!

  • Dan Taube: The Fifth Horseman

Loved this script. Definitely felt like a VH1 “Behind the Music” episode. Loved all the anachronisms too! Gave it a very modern feel, which I enjoyed. Also loved the way all of the characters were intertwined and super connected to each other. Great humor. You will laugh lots. Highly recommend!!

Love this play! A perfectly absurd situation with all kinds of interesting undertones and subtext. Two couples meet under very bizarre circumstances and what results is delightful AND frightening. Loved the ending and you will too! Highly recommended!
