Rebecca and Henry have a happy marriage. Or do they? They know each other so well, every little routine. Or do they? The play is a silly little comedy. Or is it almost unspeakably sad? Tara Meddaugh packs a lot of conflicting emotion into this short little comedy/drama. It makes you eager to read more of her work.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Anna Fox at a few theatre conferences and her work always intrigues me. "Alaska in the Summertime" is a half poem, half play, that I would really love to see staged. So many possibilities!

A clever little play from Ward Kay. (That rhymes.) As any baseball fan knows, the game is analyzed to death. Always has been, always will be. Whatever happened to BA, HRs and RBIs? Now it's OPS, LIPS and of course WAR. But while making fun of these new stats, Kay throws in an O-Henry ending that gets you thinking.

I am a fan of Schatzie's work and this is probably my favorite of her one acts. It is, in fact, almost a playwriting exercise: Put only two actors on stage and bind them together for the entire course of the play. How does one pull that off? Schatzie does so quite well in this little based-on-true-events crime caper.

A quirky little romance/ghost story from David Hansen. I found it had a bit of a "Twin Peaks" feel. You think you know where it's going until you realize you don't. And you keep guessing until the end...and then you keep guessing some more.

This is a bit of silliness from Tom Cavanaugh, but it contains several Laugh Out Loud moments. A mom finds some naughty content on her daughter's cell phone. A good ten minute play will leave you wanting more, and I do. What happens next, Tom?

Sometimes as I watch a play I am thinking to myself "Damn! I wish I'd written this!" I had that very reaction when I saw "Six Dead Bodies..." The title isn't wrong! It really is about dead bodies duct-taped to a merry-go-round, but it is also about so much more...

A writer poking fun at writers. Or is it a writer poking fun at characters? Or maybe a writer poking fun at the entire writing process? Regardless, Philip Middleton Williams gives us a lot to both think and laugh about here in a mere ten minutes.

I grew up (and still am!) a Minnesota Twins fan. I cheered for them through bad years, and there were many, and good years, which were never quite good enough. Finally, unexpectedly, in 1987 they did it! They won it all! If you're a true fan you get that feeling, and Greg Lam gets it! This is a fun play the speaks of things left unsaid by devoted fans. That moment when...

A unique, quirky little play about a knuckleball. Yes, from the perspective of the baseball! If you're a baseball fan you'll get it. And if you're not? I think you're going to enjoy the ride all the same.
