Another loving family play - where nothing happens and everything happens. Williams once again shares an organic revealing story that is very touching. Nicely done.
  • How to Tie a Cravat (a monologue) (Playing on the Periphery #2)

A beautiful response to a brutal take down by another boy, Bertram is already smarter than his eight years. Kudos to such a skilled writer as Sickles, who clears the emotional path step by step. I like this boy a lot, his heart and his smarts. Well done.
  • Persephone
    24 Jun. 2020
A daughter and mother meeting for the first time have a million questions. In Persephone, Scott Sickles, one of the funniest writers around, introduces us and them to each other and all of us are ultimately more than satisfied. What a barrel of fun for any theatre to produce!
  • ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE (from the MAD FOR MYSTERY Collection)

To the point, Constance needs to get over her probable-ex-husband. But how to get rid of the pain? Her roommate knows! Lermond writes a short play - we think we know where it's going but -- we don't. Score another hit for Lermond!

This is a poetic recognition of a woman’s natural geography, a mapping of her Inner and outer live’s possible terrains. It’s beautiful.

I like this play partly for how different it is. There are characters we don't always see that are warm and sad and painful like the situation. On top of which, it is well-written, too. Nice work by Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn.
  • Fuck Being Good

Sometimes I wonder if many haven't taken Graham's satirical advice in 'Fuck Being Good'. It sounded so familiar - because Dickson has encapsulated, in one place, a picture of today's society. So scary. So real.
  • KiKi Pineapple Starring In: "Saving the World!"
    15 Jun. 2020
Kiki Pineapple could save the world if all believed like she does - with the help of her teacher. A lovely play for kids about self-acceptance and moving on.

A play that is simply made for actors to go to town! This third grade art show is at a tie with the three judges. This comedy has judges judging to the nth degree and children being children. Well-written and ultimately a barrel of laughs, this is a winner!

A warm and embracing Christmas play that shows us what we really value - and as always, it's our friendships. The families we choose. Perfect for the holiday season. Nice work, O'Grady!
