What a fantastic dark comedy. This short play runs the gamut from light hearted laughter to true dread. It's short, sweet, and offers a real scare. So good.

You can feel the tension of eighteen years in isolation disappear as Gerald finally emerges back into the world full of hope for the life he left behind. In a few short words Radtke has us cheering him on, identifying with his initial surrender to the fear that we've all experienced in the decades since the turn of the century. Gerald is escaping and we're escaping along with him. Wonderful.
  • Please, Don't Go

So much in one minute for this powerful show. PLEASE, DON'T GO moves at the speed of life-short, fast, final. Wow.
  • The Replacement

THE REPLACEMENT approaches a dark topic with touching humor and does so wonderfully. There is a timelessness to this timely show. There is too much hatred, too much fear, too many "Cliffords" in this world. This show is the perfect start to dealing with them. So well done.

We should all live more like Intern Nirmal. What a fun show with great dialogue and a real treat for the adventurous costumer. And what a great ending! I want to see this produced.

Eight lines full of power and love and loss. Eight lines that made me cry and reminisce about my own far too short a time with a beloved family member. This show will stay with you. This is one of the truest plays I have ever read.
  • PUSH PULL
    3 Apr. 2024
Comedy, drama, tension, mystery, this little play has it all. We get a glimpse of the truth as the characters push and pull tidbits of information about their relationship, clue by clue, until we see a part of the whole. I'd love to see this performed.

There is truth in this play of grief wrapped in pain and love and self destruction. There is truth in memories made manifest and in permission to heal. Ian Donley does a wonderful job in crafting these truths into a short interlaced with the humor that follows trauma. Very well done.
  • So This is a One Minute Play

What a great show. It's as long as it needs to be and would be a fantastic inclusion to open a night of short plays. As usual with Jacquie's plays, the comic timing is perfect, the dialogue is spot on, and the play itself is stellar. So good.

What a magical show. It's funny, touching, with some great parts for both humans and puppets. As a former puppet performer I can say that this show would be a dream if I was looking to produce a live event directed to the Gen Xers and Millennials who grew up on the Muppet Show and Sesame Street. So good.
