  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: HIDE and SEEK

This is such an interesting piece. I love how many different ways this play can be performed depending how it is cast. This will be such a cool piece to watch "grow!"

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: If Only in My Dreams (Ten Minute)

Such a heartbreaking tale of family dynamics through illness and holiday stress. The voices are very real and distinct. You have hope for Dusty and Lillian to make a better Christmas for themselves this year, as they place a literal star atop the tree to guide them.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Sugarplum

For such a short play, there are so many worlds packed tightly and expertly into these pages! An absolute layer cake of delicious terror. I use cake as a metaphor, because we live in a world where anything can be cake and in the world of SUGARPLUM, anything can be reality. We'll never know for sure which layer is the layer of truth and which is just the waxy paper of illusion!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: You May Have 6

This is such an original concept and so well executed. It is fast paced and full of physical comedy. But it also leaves you thinking, "who would be my 6 and how have I treated them in life?" We leave with hope for Roger and grateful that he will have nothing but time and the guidance of a loving mother to make him the person he should have been.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Cleo's Clients

This colorful short play will take you by surprise. Titillating yet hilarious at points. A real challenge for emerging intimacy directors!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: You Have Earned Bonus Stars

Wow. This play is so many wonderful and terrifying things at once! The characters are distinct and strong and actors will likely be up for awards playing these parts. I won't be able to stop thinking about this play and it's comedy through tragedy in such an elegant and powerful way. If they ever produce it near me, I will be fighting to be cast in this piece!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Petty Drama Officer

Picturing this dialogue being read by people in serious looking uniforms makes it all the funnier!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: (A Day in) The Life of Pie

This play would be a real challenge to perform and not sing, but the straighter it's played the funnier it is! The audience will be leaning in, trying to recognize all the song references. And doesn't the world need more fast-paced, punny, noir comedies? "Dream On"? "I Want it Now!"

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Ultimate Christmas Question

Laughed out loud at the last line while listening to this on GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT! This play could so easily have been trite and over done, just like that Christmas movie called...oh, I won't start a fight here! But the subject matter was definitely tackled in a delightful and original manner! People will likely pick sides in this argument, but the characters and the audience will win in the end!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Santa Thing

This was so funny to listen to on GATHER BY THE GHOST LIGHT. I adore Taylor's innocence and the blow line for this piece is so perfect!
