  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: G.C.F. GHOST OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE (from the CRACKED UP CHRISTMAS COLLECTION)

This would be a delightful addition to any holiday program. The familiar character of Scrooge with a familiar Ghost from a more familiar time to the audience telling Scrooge all the things we wish we could have told him. A cathartic tale of what Christmas is truly about!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Finding A Foundling

There is something very Ubu Rex about this play to me. It is a great folktale told in an over the top absurd way. It will definitely be fun to perform. Young audiences will definitely be taken in by the wild characters and their different way of viewing their world. But it will also give them a lot to talk about after as well. Great for a church performance as well. Very funny and smart stuff.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Lent Me Your Ears (An Easter Tail)

I had a special reason to read this play today, and I am so glad I did! If there was ever a perfect Easter play, this very well may be it! Theatres, get this on your spring schedule now! What a fast paced, well written comedy and great characters for all! I laughed out loud several times and even gasped at the end. This play will get you laughing, too. Highly recommend!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Pussygrabber

This raw, open wound of a monologue hits hard and is terrifyingly real and relatable. Like a lyrical poem and a stream of consciousness play, the words fall and strike and will drown you with their honesty. Hopefully a hand will reach out soon, but 4 years of drowning will be hard to recover from and this monologue will stick with you for awhile as well.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Midnight Snack

The opening line alone: "Step away from the book drop!" I was leaning in and smiling through this whole short play. What a great tale of folklore and actually kind of believable. We do need to show more respect and care to our libraries or something like this might happen! Absolutely delightful script. Actors and designers alike will have a great time performing this and audiences will leave holding their library cards a little more dearly.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Heinrich Maneuver (a ten minute play)

What a fun two hander for a couple of actors to really chew the scenery with! I laughed out loud at the twist and would love to see this performed!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Incentive Program

I was laughing out loud from the start of this fast paced comedy! Honestly, I was almost ready to buy the car myself! Suddenly the play took a dark turn and I was worried for poor Glenn even though I continued to laugh at the absurdity of the situation. I will say, I feel a little more prepared for when I have to turn my lease in next year!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: END OF PLAY.

As a writer, this play was very relatable. But I think all theatre-goers will see something to like in this short play. Everyone has to inject their own experiences in the art they witness, and often talkbacks with writers devolve into that. All the personal baggage other people brought with them to the theater skews their interpretations. I have a lot of personal baggage of my own, but I wouldn't change a thing about this script!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: PUPPERS [A MONOLOGUE]

Absolutely adorable, and I could see this almost set to music as a movement piece as well. It could be a great character study! What a cuddly-wuddly little piece!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: NORMALCY [A 1-MINUTE PLAY]

I don't know why, but this one minute play actually painted a big ol' smile on my face! Maria and Ginny definitely have a workplace history, and perhaps the history, no matter if the flavor is sweet or sour, is the most important to cling to in a world gone askew. Absolutely love this snapshot of a script.
