This feels like a very real conversation in a masculine friend group. The banter, the deflection when one wants to be honest about feelings with the other. You really feel for Gary, but you also see Jeff's point about Gary's naivety, despite the careless way in which he tells him. Gary is an example that men do have feelings, Jeff is an example of how they ignore their good instincts for immediate satisfaction.

This is an adorable origin story for a...villain? The Juggler definitely has the "villain explains their whole plan to the hero" bit down pat, at least. But maybe a word of the day calendar would be beneficial to this "baddie?" Very cute and funny.

Right out of the gate, we are introduced to characters who are just the worst of the worst scammers. But as the story plays out, we see their human side as well and how they are in love and have been through a lot together. They're still not wonderful people, but you find yourself hoping they can find their way out of the horrible mess they are in due to their horrible life choices.

Oh. My. God. This is not what I saw happening at. All! Funny and terrifying. Now I know why I don't like tablecloths.

I love how Eleanor takes her joy of stories and creates "fan fiction" of Robin Hood, to not only give the character a happy ending, but her own life as well. Stories are motivational, inspirational and great escapes from the drudgery of life. Eleanor's "Goodfellow" Robin Hood becomes the Robin we all know and love today. This is a fun ensemble piece with music!

Male friendships aren't usually portrayed in this honest and raw manner. These three men couldn't be more diverse, and not just their racial heritage. Their feelings, their experiences, so varied. And that is what makes them so very good for each other. They don't always listen to one another, but they HEAR one another. And that is what makes them real and layered human beings. Lots of beautiful moments and monologues in this piece. A great character study.

Magic. A tiny miracle that grows and grows. That is the relationship we are allowed to bear witness to between Gina and Keith. This is a gift. Humans cling so hard to memory and each other, sometimes holding too tightly is how we lose what we had. But Gina clinging to Keith, both real and hologram, is actually evidence that they will always find each other again. Like energy seeking like energy. This is the most human science fiction you may ever experience.

Surreal, fantastical, and absolutely bonkers. This sci-fi mindf#*k of a play will have audiences nervous, then laughing, then paranoid, then laughing again. I guess we're all a little Casper/Evil Casper! I love the dueling voice over bit. Is it weird that I would love to play the Corn VO? Even if it is weird, so is this play! And don't think there isn't a message here, because there is. It just depends on where your head is at/what's inside your head what message you will get from the corn or the cosmos here!

Wow. That last line hits hard. That line definitely felt truthful. The rest of the play was just like real life, everyone playing their own "truths" but never bringing them together for the "full truth."

Time marches on, even for banjo clocks and furniture. And the pieces in this play have definitely seen an epic story unfold that many of us have loved. Connecting the talking furniture with a familiar story allows us to really feel the nostalgia with them. And though time marches on for them (and us) they do have new futures waiting for them. Imagine the new stories they will witness!
