This has such a great sci-fi twist! The power of motivation meets the power of the storyteller. And together, I think they can be a formidable force! This is a feel good play with just a touch of magic!
  • Truth or Dare

Whoa! At first, this just feels like Seth is just reading the room and spilling some tea about the guests at a dinner party. Seth's harsh and catty, and of course, a little funny in a cruel way. But then we get a dark turn and oh boy! This is a world I want to know more about! Colin Murphy has painted a dark future, but Seth is strong enough to fight through it and there will be no question about that!
  • The Veil - Script In A Day
    4 Nov. 2022
I wouldn't be surprised if this story were based in fact! The male gaze on the feminine form certainly began in the art world, and for some reason, made women out to be no more than pictures, but not innovators or artists. The tales spun in this art circle to keep their secrets are maddening yet fascinating in their artistry of lies. Art in all its forms, would be nothing without the contribution of clever women like Rosie!
  • Waiting On Mom, Who Already Left
    4 Nov. 2022
This is such a beautiful, snapshot of a moment. A moment almost all of us will go through (or already have) and a moment that is so simple and real it really shakes you. You almost feel like you are sitting there with Scott and Jackie as they have gotten past their world shattering and are now just staring at the pieces, determining what to do with them. Looking forward to the full length of this play!
  • Lady Fashion

This is such a sweet snapshot of a piece with very engaging characters. I think we would all love to hear more about Ruth and her modeling career. And definitely about Lady Fashion and how she juggles her personal life and family issues with her career. What a great pair of characters in a sweet and sad situation.
  • Ellis Island Ahead!
    1 Nov. 2022
This is a great piece for a school looking for a large cast/ensemble play to produce. Or for a professional or community theatre group looking to do an engaging educational play. The history is in bite-sized, musical pieces and very fun and easy to digest. Students will be inspired to do extra research working on this play or even viewing it! It's a win/win for your next theatrical production!
  • The Replacement
    1 Nov. 2022
I adore this play! It starts off so scary, but Sylvia is so witty and strong. And young Cliffy, so earnest and wanting to learn, even though he gets it wrong sometimes. Such a wild and fun way to send home a message on a dark and terrible subject. I wouldn't have thought such a thing could be done. That Morey Norkin is a miracle writer, I tell ya! This is a play that needs to be produced often!
  • Half the Battle
    1 Nov. 2022
I can so relate to this as a writer AND an actor! Actors so want to please the writer and be the muse that gets a work of art created. Writers need so badly to write something that is cutting edge, different, but exactly what everyone wants to see right now. This would be the perfect play to open an evening of short plays. Lets everyone know what they are in for and how they got there!
  • UNICORN KID: A RECYCLING MONOLOGUE
    1 Nov. 2022
This earnest and passionate monologue is also so very adorable. And there are so many different ways you could interpret the personality of Unicorn Kid and make it uniquely your own performance. You could assign this monologue to every student in your class and never see the same performance and be wowed by new character discoveries. All while learning about saving the environment! This is a great opportunity for performance!
  • Songs Of El Paso: A Ballad Of The West

This song has always painted such a vivid picture for me. A staged version like this could be so epic, with beautiful costumes and colors. Almost a little operetta. A great piece to add to an evening of musical stage pieces.
