  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Bus to Nowhere

You never know how or when the darkness can hit you. Some people get there through no fault of their own, but definitely believe it is their fault. Then there are those who made terrible choices that dragged them into the abyss. Trevor is a wonderfully deep and flawed character who is in a self-imposed loop of atonement to help those who are faultless to get out of their dark journey. A very nuanced look at despair and how it affects people.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: BLIZZARD IN HAWAII

This is a cute play for young audiences AND young performers. There are opportunities for the performers to really take on the animal qualities while learning about the animals and where they are from, as well as being respectful of friends and their feelings. All while surfing at Christmas time!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: 1 in 30 million (a monologue)

I actually remember this news story! This is a great lobster "tale" and honestly should be part of an evening of "rare creatures" monologues and scenes. True stories!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: ALIEN FARMER'S WIFE

Can sci-fi be adorable? Because this is SO adorable! I love Peggy's no nonsense attitude along with Wilbur's malleable willingness to learn. This is just so sweet and well crafted. A romance born in the stars and ready to settle on earth.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Hook in Hell

I adore this play! The characters would be a delight to play. Although very familiar characters, they get the chance to make their own way through their self-realization. Just an absolutely fun piece with a hidden message about taking charge of your own fate!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: This Grass Kills People

This is intense. It has an aura of comedy, but that sucker punch of reality underneath it all is what will get you. Emerson is the social media voice of reason, screaming to help people who just don't want to be helped. And after a certain point, the Emersons of the world will just have to drink their mimosas, swallowing the juice, champagne and desire to care for their fellow humans because their fellow humans refuse to be helped...until it's too late, of course.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Wallabies of Venice

This piece is absolutely bonkers! Which makes the bureaucracy of it straight up accurate. It's what the officials are discussing and HOW they discuss it that goes more off the rails than any real political debate. Just picturing the over the top accents and the fast paced delivery makes you smile! A comic ensemble play that will really show off the wacky skills of your actors and designers!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Pangur and the Ghost

This is a painting of a moment, a beautiful poem about the end of life, but not the end of love. This will take your heartstrings and twist you around, but lead you to the light and to hope. There is a reason we love our pets and they will never leave us in the dark. There are not enough plays that will guide an audience through these emotions. I'm glad to have found this one.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Sisters from the Same Mister

This is a story about family. Even though this family wasn't always aware of one another's existence, the beauty is that family has connection and can choose to pursue that connection with love or not. With DNA tests available to the general public, there are a lot of these families coming together now and this play really highlights the ups and downs of new found family. I loved the developing connections and the hope we are left with at the end.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: (A Day in) The Life of Pie

This play would be a real challenge to perform and not sing, but the straighter it's played the funnier it is! The audience will be leaning in, trying to recognize all the song references. And doesn't the world need more fast-paced, punny, noir comedies? "Dream On"? "I Want it Now!"
