  • Bryan Stubbles: Morning After

Interesting take on the "morning after" trope. Observant study on American self-centeredness. Recommended if one is curious as to what really makes America tick. Good work.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Racial Science

"Her yellow is too high." Sharp, sharp satire right here. Some very good lines. A poignant message underneath it all. Recommended for any audience that needs to think. Great work.

  • Bryan Stubbles: The Last Night

Philosophical and heartfelt, THE LAST NIGHT would be a welcome addition to any holiday-themed lineup of shorts.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Pretty For An Asian Girl

Wang portrays a very human experience in this starkly humorous monologue perfect for a teen performer.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Kith and Tell

This is some funny stuff. A sad evoking of how Americans may descend into computerized animatrons, or at least they obtain the not-so-subtle qualities of computers. Gerardo's play has a winning, manic-like quality to it and is a vibrant satire on what will be....Great work.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Aftermath

This feels real - or at least as real as "imitation of life" can get. Grogan's dialogue is to the point. Love it. Usually the female is portrayed in our media as wanting the male to stay. This is a fresher take on that trope. SPOILER ALERT: Not every play has a happy ending or even a sad ending. As in life, there are just endings. Understated brilliance.

  • Bryan Stubbles: A Jumble of Worn Words

This concisely captures that moment after the death of someone we love. A lot of "ifs" and new discoveries. Despite the play being about grief, it is actually quite funny. Bravo!

  • Bryan Stubbles: Flesh, Blood, & Glass

Wonderful parable starring an unborn girl and her father. Some very salient points made. Telling observations on the socialization of males and females in America. And some very funny lines. Bykowski has a great command of language and theme. Good work!

  • Bryan Stubbles: Concordance

Corrector corrected. A new genre of play has been created. I dub it the "Minigan." It is easy to see why the play hasn't had a full-on production. It is beyond unique. The following genres apply to the play: comedy of manners, comedy of errors, morality play, fantasy, period, biography. The only play I've read/seen in which the lead had a stutter. I heartily recommend this play for people who are tired of the ho-hum, bland and idiotic plays which are slowing twisting the American theatre into its grave. Poor Alex Cruden. Enjoy! Strong teenaged female role as well.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Suicide Hotline

"What’s a roter phone?" Fun spin on the reverse suicide hotline play (there's a few of those on NPX). McBurnette-Andronicos paints these losers with humor and sadness. There's an interesting in-between space with funny and sad here. Cute ending. This play certainly needs more productions and "yay" for "roter" phones. Hehe.
