  • Bryan Stubbles: Square Footage

I was fortunate enough to see this at the Tomo Suru About Love Festival back in 2016. It was funny - good work on showing relationships. Interesting use of space on the stage. Would love to see this play get more productions. Good work.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Cram School Snow Day

This is a well-written play - funny. A good U Penn joke in here. Cute ending. Highly recommended. This play deserves many productions. Hardy certainly can write. As a former cram school teacher, this play has my full endorsement. Hehehehe.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Black Lipstick

Any play that contains the line: "Don’t touch the Manilow mix-" has got to be a winner. This funny, heartfelt comedy with a bit of role reversal and irony is definitely worth a production. Captures and reworks the mother/daughter dynamic flawlessly - Rogers knows what she's doing here. A pleasure.

  • Bryan Stubbles: BROKE/FIX

Nice parable that touches on friendship - interaction - possible death - myth and all sorts of goodies in just a few pages. Recommended and worth a read [and production].

  • Bryan Stubbles: The President of Ohio

A very funny play. Don't know why it hasn't been produced. Recommended for any satire fan.

  • Bryan Stubbles: WILLIE: A THRIFT STORE WORKER MONOLOGUE

Wow. I can recommend this, having been lugged around thrift stores throughout my childhood and still visiting them. Wyndham catches an earnestness rarely found in contemporary American writing. This is a great monologue for almost any actor, really. A part with a heart. Also - the play focuses attention on the plight of workers in modern, decaying America. Bravo!

  • Bryan Stubbles: Gentle Strokes

Bultrowicz' strokes of genius cover the canvas of this hysterical masterpiece. Though they are not always gentle, but biting. Emily gets the best case of revenge imaginable and pathetic Stanley is left to meditate over criticism. This is a hilarious play with a strong female role and should get many productions.

  • Bryan Stubbles: Blast and Wail

Braaa!!! This script wailed so bad. It was like I met the great writer at the end, writing in reps of 12, braaa. The script was so hard, bro - like a pre-hit, hit and post hit, braa. Totally the most cut script on the NPXXXX aaaargghhhh!!!!! Blasted. Gut gemacht.

  • Bryan Stubbles: The Girl Wore Red Licorice

YES! I'd been slogging through so many terrible plays on NPX (don't worry, I recommended the good ones) - and despair turned to...worse than despair. I thought "Matt Weaver's stuff is almost always awesome" and I found this beaut right here. Oh mein Gott in Himmel. This play has the typical Weaver ingredients: dopey guy, winsome babes and an out-of-this-galaxy plot. This play is hilarious and yet also very touching in its portrayal of loneliness. Really felt for the poor lug. A masterpiece of humor, creativity and emotion. So touching. This will influence my future writing for sure.

Slice-of-life fly-on-the-wall introspection of a father/daughter relationship gone to hell. DIPietro writes from a place of truth. This definitely needs some productions.
