These characters are SOOOO human, they deserve production after production. Rose has crafted an incredibly human story with three dimensional characters. Amusing jokes, too. Very recommended.

A pretty engrossing story - one that moves at a clipped pace. There's a good sense that something more is going on beneath the surface and an O. Henry ending reinforces that. A good piece of regional literature, if such a thing exists in theatre. Gonzales needs to write more of them. Recommended!

Poor Katie! A fun yet harrowing descent into that delusional madness some men are guilty of. Good stuff.

Now a trilogy (?), Henry's "sexual-harrassment-horror-revenge" series throws ina new tale. This one uses a different set-up by employing a narrator and turning the "spooky story/urban legend" trope on its head. Best part was mispronunication of the heroine's name. Onward and upward!

Another classic tale of killer awesomeness. I even learned what a "manticore" is. This, combined with Henry's werewolf-killing-the-patriarchy play will make for a fine two minutes of entertainment. Highly recommended.

So this is abso-freaking-lutely awesome. Some may call it wish fulfillment, but this is true literature of the highest degree. It speaks to the time we live in as Americans and also is badass enough to qualify as a genre piece. Plus, I learned several new phrases: "Confidence Outfit" "Confidence Coffee" and "Confidence Hair." A sharp (hehe) play by Henry, a sharp writer.

A pleasant read. Certainly won't pass the Bechdel Test, but that's not the point. An entertaining play in conversation with the mythos and legends of America's past.

Pretty good satire. Kept waiting for someone to get bit. The wait paid off. Good work. This should get beyond readings.

Holy Crapamole! An INTENSELY FUNNY [because it is true] monologue indicting social media, ignorant parenting and many other aspects of 2018 America. Starts with a bang and never lets up. Phoebe is one of the most sympathetic characters in a play I've come across in a long time. "I don’t care if I’m ruining anyone’s vacation because, because maybe it should be ruined--because maybe human beings should pocket the camera phones and, I don’t know, hold hands, talk, enjoy the beauty of one of the greatest places to be right now on planet Earth!? " You go, Phoebe!

"The way you talk, it’s like you’ve been planning Kate’s death since high school in some cracked out Ocean’s
Eleven long con!" Truth dwells in this play's hyperbole. This play hit a bit of a personal note for me - way back in high school a kid I knew died and the other students did what these two characters do here: outfriend one another. Hayet has written a poignant, funny play with a touching ending. I'm surprised it hasn't been produced yet. Extremely recommended.
