If dialogue were a dream-like allegory. Sayet delivers.

A play about a true rebel. And the cereal aisle sucks. Good for her.

YES, YES, HELL YES!!! This is one funny, trippy and oddly truthful ride. This is Bavoso's magnum opus and holy hell y'all should read it. Prescient, bright and notorious. Incredibly well-plotted but also funny with fantastic characters. A grand slam. Woot woot woot!!! Utah should make this their state play. I swear.

Martin has set the goal posts for satire far and high. Could be used as a textbook. A very satirical one. Onward and upward!

Well-written play full of conflict and a strong ending.

Stringer exposes the shallowness of America's cultural portrayals of African Americans. And the ending is a tough one. Recommended.

Fun stuff. Does a good job of mocking the whiny weirdo that is Hamlet, Dork of Denmark and his bizarre mommy fixation. Recommended.

If you want to read something different and interesting, give this play a look. Some fun dialogue from Marie: "He was ug-ly. I’m sorry. An ug-ly white man all done up in lace and red ribbons. I ain’t seen ugly like that since my brother split a hog’s head in two to show me the insides." Lawing strikes again.

A childhood game gets skewered in this send up of idiotic job reviews. Some very good jokes and funny dialogue such as the following:

    HEA THER
It’s not fair! It’s not fair! I do Pilates every fracking day and I can’t make it
    around a few chairs without . . . . losing my breath.

    DOUG
    Or your job.

And there is a twist ending. Bravo.

Saw this at the Utah New Works Theatre Project. Jolly good show! Sexism deconstruction and implosion. Beautiful.
