  • Enid Cokinos: You’ll Always Find Me In The Kitchen At Parties

Cassie and Greg share a few private minutes in the kitchen as she finalizes the details for a big gathering of friends and family. But the reason for that get-together sneaks up on you; a slow reveal leading the audience to a final sweet, hand-to-heart moment. A touching play by Rebecca Cockcroft.

  • Enid Cokinos: A WHITE CHRISTMAS (from the CRACKED UP CHRISTMAS COLLECTION)

A WHITE CHRISTMAS is the perfect post-Christmas venting session…and Cassie doesn’t hold back where the in-laws are concerned. Wonderful rhyming, alliteration, humor, and a satisfying ending makes this a thoroughly enjoyable read.

  • Enid Cokinos: THE LAST COOKIE

A cute one-minute monologue by Laurie Allen. Something tells me this gent’s earlier cookie blunder will surely be forgiven with Double Stuffs in the house.

  • Enid Cokinos: Valentine's Day - True love lasts forever.

James Hutchison beautifully weaves together past and present as Tom and Heather share memories of the first time they met, and confirming their love for each other. VALENTINE’S DAY tugs at the heartstrings and provides a bit of reassurance that true love lasts forever, and beyond.

  • Enid Cokinos: Mother

There is a lot of humor and sweetness packed into this short play. In case you were wondering how the “heavenly” match-up between children and parents works, give MOTHER a read. I thoroughly enjoyed this fun play by Jacquelyn Priskorn!

  • Enid Cokinos: Everything Bagel

An inevitable part of aging is the constant struggle between how we perceive ourselves (so much younger!) and reality. In this truly poignant play by Cam Eickmeyer, we glimpse into this older gentleman’s wish for a piece of the past, something as simple as an Everything bagel and coffee at a favorite diner. And so, begins the struggle, and I was rooting for his childlike exuberance to the end!

  • Enid Cokinos: The Speeding Ticket

This is a great twist on getting a speeding ticket – involving ice skates! These three characters play off each other perfectly through well-written dialogue and a fun story line. Lots of snark, humor, and surprises from start to finish. Speeding Ticket is a play the whole family can enjoy.

  • A humorous take on “bad girl” Teresa’s afterlife. This snarky lady of a certain age is instantly likeable as she sips red wine in her fiery red dress, and tells us how it all went down. Perfect imagery letting us know this beauty from the Golden Age of Hollywood did not end up in heaven! A fantastic monologue by Peter Fenton.

  • Enid Cokinos: STEALING A KISS

Can love blossom between two characters at a bus stop? You bet! I adore Harvey; an extroverted personality, who readily admits “I’ll talk to almost anyone or anything. Strangers, squirrels, dogs on leashes, my car when it wouldn’t start this morning…but that was more yelling than talking.” He eventually breaks through Sue’s tough outer shell and the result is a touching second chance love story. Laurie Allen’s relatable characters and dialogue makes STEALING A KISS a winner.
