All my life, I dreamed of being a writer... I just didn't know it! What I did know was that I wanted a life in the theatre. It was only later on that I realized, that being a creator of theatre gave me the power to create exactly what I longed to see on stage. Now, I strive to write the kinds of plays and musicals that I want to see, theatre with exciting and fulfilling roles for women, theatre that has the kind of story you can really dig into, theatre with fun songs, with lots of dancing, with carefully crafted lyrics. Now I can say I get to collaborate with brilliant and compassionate composers who help bring my dreams to life, and I get to be a writer.
