There is a lot in this play. It's comedic, it's dark, it's ironic, it's timely. The monologues are poetic. It addresses family and modern parenting convention, and how children are raised and how they behave. It is a modern, creative take on a classical tragedy format, and I am looking forward to seeing it produced and developed.

I read the sample instead of watching the superbowl as Rachel suggested. Good decision. Rachel has an ear for dialogue and I know the actors who get to play these characters are going to have a blast. I hope to read/see the full play beyond the sample. I can see why the NNPN picked it up for a development workshop. Well done!

I had the honor and privilege of seeing this work at the Unicorn. It is haunting, beautiful, hard-hitting. I still think about it and see the images in my mind months later. It is a piece that needs to be performed across the country. Hilary Bettis has crafted something amazing that needs to be seen by everyone.

Watched this gem of a 10 minute play at the Midwest Dramatists Center Conference in a staged reading. Wonderfully funny and snappy, realistic dialogue. Perfect for adults or teens. The actors had a great time with these characters.
