STEVEN G. MARTIN is the master of the 1-minute play, and he does it with few words. “Alone, Alone, Alone, Alone, Alone (a 1-minute play)” is truly gripping. BRAVO, once again, for a marvelous work of art!

VIVIAN LERMOND is one of the most accomplished playwrights I know. “House For Sale - Outer Hebrides: One Minute Monologue” deals with the reality that dreams to good to be true probably aren’t.

MAXIMILLIAN GILL puts the harrowing experience of first dates with the use of AI, and out comes a short play entitled “Future War”. It’s a fun play with some surprises to whet your appetite. Emily is trying her best to find her “right” mate, but her method may be a bit too futuristic. A fun play!

MONICA CROSS’s 5-minute play, “Guilty”, is seriously funny and makes a good point: You might as well eat the piece of cake, because you will feel guilty for missing the delicious taste of it. I truly laughed out loud while reading this wonderful short play.

EMILY MCCLAIN is a gifted playwright and it’s always a pleasure to read her work. I must say that her ten-minute play, “Don’t Touch The Carrot Cake”, does take-the-cake. In a contest for baking, three competitors try their best to make something from nothing. In an hilarious satire, we are witness to the baking of the special ingredients of humor, pathos, and - well, you need to read this fun play to find out.

SCOTT SICKLES really knows how to say a lot in a modicum of words. Bailey, or whomever, is caught between freedom and incarceration. “Moniker (A monologue)” is a teaser of sorts, because there are so many questions. Could there be a full length play in the making? I hope so. In the meantime, I highly recommend this wonderful piece.

KAYLIN JONES has written a moving play, which I thoroughly enjoyed. “My Own Darling Boy” touches our inner soul with a depth of feelings of love and tragedy. Audiences will be moved by this wonderful play.

MATTHEW WEAVER “always brings comedy, drama, energy, fun, greatness, hilarity, interest” —— in short, Mr. Weaver is much better with words than me. “And Sometimes Y” is “just kinda luminous” and “more nuanced or precisely quirky”. What more can I say? “Really simply the ultimate very wonderful xperience”. “YES! ZOOM!” (Or, you will fly high with joy by reading and producing this work of art!

KATE DANKEY’s “Divine Intervention” is in a word,DEVINE! This dark comedy comes with a message, at least for me, that we should follow our dreams no matter what the obstacles are. The dialogue was exceptional. God, forgive me for saying this, but some of us have a dream and we are willing to do what it takes.

CHRISTOPHER PLUMRIDGE’s monologue, “The Uninvited”, is a masterful piece. I started to think the uninvited was death, but Mr. Plumridge’s ‘demon’ is far more insidious. I highly recommend this monologue.
