ASHER WYNDHAM’s monologue, “Employee of the Year for Customer Service”, is humorous but also makes great points about the disparity and unfairness in how the worker is ‘honored’ (treated) compared to senior executives.

TOM ERB’s monologue from his play, “A Rainy Night in Hollywood”, is both touching and inspirational. We learn so much about Rita Hayworth, the woman who was truly a superstar. We also learn something about the men who stormed the beaches of Normandy. It’s a magnificent monologue.

TOM ERB’s 40-minute play takes us to a different time in American history, where the golden age of Hollywood is in full bloom. World War II made its mark - physically, emotionally, and mentally - on hard working men, who married their sweetheart and worked hard to make ends meet. My dad was in this war, and he was so much like George. Rita Hayworth was a superstar but she had regrets, yearnings, and questions about her choices. You will love “A Rainy Night in Hollywood”. Bravo!

GEORGE SAPIO has written so many wonderful plays, and you won’t be disappointed in his new one, “Bucket List”. Relationships, love, and sex - good dialogue, interesting characters, fun premise - fills this ten-minute gem.

RACHEL FEENY-WILLIAMS is one of the most prolific playwrights I know. Besides her ability to quickly write plays, one after another, all of her work is superb. “MY GIRLS” was written in ONE DAY. Yet, it’s REALLY GOOD. I highly recommend this!

MARJ O’NEILL-BUTLER’s “The Bench Plays” are an enjoyable assortment of eleven short plays, with each taking place with a bench. I liked the variety of the characters and plots, as well as the seriousness and humor found among them. An audience will certainly see elements of themselves, if they’re older, or if they’re younger, something that reminds them of an older person in their life.

DEB MEYER takes a fairytale, we all know, in a different and unique direction. “Dastardly Devon - Monologue” touches on loneliness, bullying, misunderstanding, and gives us an interesting spin.

DEB MEYER takes up the huge problem of addiction. In a short piece, we are witness to the profound struggle one must go through. “Lies We Believe” says so much in very few words.

MARSHALL LOGAN-GIBBS hits the nail on the head with his short play”Coin Pusher”. Unfortunately, some are addicted to gambling and don’t recognize how their obsession affects themselves and their family. We need to take stock of our priorities.

VIVIAN LERMOND brings out the joy of being seasoned, not old, and having fun, not being crazy. Hurray for us, Senior Citizens! “Solid Gold(2 minute monologue)” makes me what to get on the dance floor and have a great time!
