  • Jack Levine: CLAIREVOYANT [10-Minute Play]

NATHAN CHRISTOPHER pulls you into the mystical world in a fun play of a "Clairevoyant (10-Minute Play)" - or is she? Two people have apparently struggled to make their marriage work. The end is near, but the husband wants to test a theory he holds. The characters are interesting and the dialogue is fast-moving, interesting, and enjoyable.

  • Jack Levine: 7 Weeks, 3 Days

CLAUDIA HAAS’s play touched me deeply as I remembered the awkwardness of talking to a loved one who was dying some years ago. Friends want to ‘be there’ to comfort, “to say the right things’. Death will come to all of us, yet it is the hardest thing to discuss. “7 Weeks, 3 Days” will bring tears for the travesty of cancer, especially to a young person. It will also strike a hopeful note of the strength we can give each other through the strong bonds of a true close friendship. BRAVO!

  • Jack Levine: Quarantined with Human

CLAUDIA HAAS’s one-minute play is so funny. It all goes to show you that one person’s needs may not be the same as their pet’s desires. “Quarantined With Human” will be loved by pet owners and anyone else who has a sense of humor. Wonderful!

  • Jack Levine: The High School Yearbook Picture of Dorian Gray

JOHN BUSSER imagines a ‘young’ Dorian Gray having his high school yearbook photo taken (probably for the who-knows-how-many-times). I love the witty dialogue and the characters. “The High School Yearbook Picture of Doiron Gray” is a fun play and should delight any audience.

  • Jack Levine: A Short Visual Aid of Life in America During the Year of Our Lord, 2020

DANIEL PRILLAMAN has a wit I love. “A Short Visual Aid of Life In America During the Year of our Lord, 2020” is a short play, which describes what we have experienced during the year of the pandemic: short supplies of certain products and a need to connect to what we once loved - by using our ‘National Past Time’ of baseball as a metaphor.

  • Jack Levine: I'VE GOT THIS

MONICA CROSS demonstrates her talent to have her characters - in this case a squirrel and possum - come alive and tell us how we don’t always see simple things in the same way. “I’ve Got This” is a witty, short play with a lot of depth.

  • Jack Levine: Voyager

ROSS TEDFORD KENDALL beautifully touches on the interconnection of objects far beyond our reach and the interrelationship between a young and older scientist. A compelling play about our desires to reach beyond our known world. “Voyager” has a rhythm of fast-paced dialogue with scientific jargon, which makes the play seem so realistic. I would love to see this short play expanded to a full-length.

  • Jack Levine: Counterpoint

LARRY RINKEL touches a chord in the inner soul of the creative mind of a would-be composer, who needed a ‘push’ from a young want-to-be composer. “Counterpoint” is a play of possibilities, creativity, and a retired stockbroker being energized by a teenager. Together, we believe both will benefit from their mutual love of music.

  • Jack Levine: WOMEN w/o WALLS (full length)

ROBIN RICE’s play, “Women W/O Walls (Full Length)”, has all the elements of fear, anger, regret, confusion, rage, denial, and more. We are captivated by the shear power of the characters and situation in which they find themselves. I was transfixed by the dialogue, trying to comprehend what was the real meaning, and yet, I knew all too well what I needed to know. You will find this play well-worth your time, and you will want to reread it to discover the many layers and depth of a well-written play.

  • Jack Levine: The Camera, The Gerbil, and the Big, Wide World

KATE DANLEY’s play touched me emotionally as I became engrossed in the telling of a close childhood friendship which endured into adulthood. When these memories are strong and true, there is a bond that one can use to make sense of the present. The characters are strong; the philosophical use of stars, pets, and moving provide metaphors of the meaning of the world we inhabit; and there is much to learn from this wonderful play, young and old people alike. “The Camera, The Gerbil, And The Big, Wide World” captured my heart!
