  • Jack Levine: Every 10 minute play in 10 minutes

KEN LEVINE’s play, “Every 10 Minute Play in 10 Minutes”, is downright funny. I have read enough plays to say that Ken Levine certainly touched on many familiar tropes. Each one reminded me of other plays, some of which I performed. This play made me laugh out loud.

  • Jack Levine: 19

MATTHEW WEAVER has written a fascinating play on the illusions we may have regarding how we perceive someone who seems ‘perfect’. Especially in our youth, but sometimes as we get older, our wish to be close (i.e., kiss) to someone may be clouded by beauty over personality. I love the way Mathew Weaver portrays a most common occurrence in his play “19”.

  • Jack Levine: Modern Subdivision Zoning in the Present Day

GREG HATFIELD’s “Modern Subdivision Zoning in the Present Day” is a laugh out loud short play of a lecture by Theodore Barkley. You will thoroughly enjoy the buildup, delivery, and ending...you may not learn much, but who cares. A fun read!

  • Jack Levine: The Janus Circle

GREG HATFIELD takes us into the waiting room of the head of a major studio. All three actors believe they ‘have’ the lead role in the same movie. “The Janus Circle” is a fun play with egos bulging, expectations flying-high, and sharpened elbows out. The ending is ‘icing on the cake’ of this fun play.

  • Jack Levine: The Golden Rule

DAN TAUBE tackles the tough issue of ‘white privilege’ in a way that cuts below the ‘oh, not me, I would never’ facade and deftly points out the racism in some people. “The Golden Rule” is a well-constructive play and is a ‘must-read’. I really want to see this play performed onstage. Great work!

  • Jack Levine: Take It Or Leave It

JACQUELYN FLOYD-PRISKORN has written a wonderful play with a worthwhile message about recycling while keeping the dialogue engaging, witty, and thought provoking. “Take It Or Leave It” is a play I thoroughly enjoyed reading and would absolutely want to see performed onstage.

  • Jack Levine: Just A Rumor

DOUG DEVITA (co-written with GARY LYONS)’s “Just A Rumor”, is a marvelous play of two Hollywood legends who became lovers, best friends, and partners for twenty-five years, while he remained married. The play is fascinating in the story it tells, the characters it portrays, and the situations in which they find themselves. Mr. DeVita is a brilliant storyteller, and this play is one of his best. There are parts in this play that are hilarious. You will be totally in love with this play. BRAVO!

  • Jack Levine: Next Stop Central Station

JEREMY SONY’s play, “Next Stop Central Station”, offers an interesting twist to the slogan, “See something, say something”. Laura wants to make friends; Alan has to concentrate on his mission; and Sam seems more inclined to read his newspaper. The tension of a possible explosive situation has us wondering what is going to happen throughout the play.

  • Jack Levine: Kill Them With Kindness

KATE DANLEY takes the idea of “Kill Them With Kindness” to a new level of absurdity. In her witty play, a doctor and nurse try to make a patient see the bright side of his serious medical condition - a sure way to make someone feel better, so they say. You will certainly laugh out loud with this gem.

  • Jack Levine: Reunion

ISABELLA WALDRON has written a fantasy of what it might be like if we were able to 'see and talk' to someone who has died. Sometimes we may think that 'things have changed' due to time. Perhaps, they have. But if we were to have a conversation with someone who has not been living for some time, can we really expect things to be different? Perhaps, so. Perhaps, not. You will love "Reunion". It is a heartwarming play and is likely to bring tears to your eyes. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this play!
