  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: TWELFTH DAY

A brilliantly re-imagined story of the Three Wise Men with a sad underline commentary of modern society and giving to others. The three characters interact brilliantly with each other and with the invisible passers by. The play certainly will make you think twice before walking past someone in need and that's what makes it a wonderfully thought provoking piece.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: NELL DASH, The Gruesomely Merry Adventures Of An Irrepressibly Sensible Capitalist With A Vengeance

How can I have not read this play before?! My admiration of Doug's work has grown with every piece I've read but this one is just fabulous! Taking classical characters and whisking them up with his own brilliant imagination and this is what is produced! I read the piece tucked on the sofa with a cup of tea but it needs to be experienced live to give it the atmosphere it will undoubtedly provide. As a British playwright, I think Nell needs to make her hop across the pond! Truly brilliant work.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: PICKING UP [Full-Length Play]

Nathan has gifted the audience with a wonderfully complicated family that you will grow more and more intrigued with from the very beginning. You feel their pain and frustration as you watch the relationships that are explored. By the end I wanted to take Lucy in my arms and give her a hug. Its a play where you not only want to know what's going to happen next, you NEED to know. Gripping, emotional and will definitely hold an audience if given the stage time it deserves!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Published! A Shonen-Inspired Musical

I love pieces about writing anyway so the very idea of this show drew me in from the very beginning. It opens an audiences eyes to what it is to want to be a writer and allows them to experience the highs and lows of being a writer. You can't help but feel for these young people as they attempt to find their place in what can be a daunting world. As the final lyrics state, in this case "Life Imitates Art" and the writer has done it incredibly well. Look out Broadway!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Sentence

This is a living example of how theatre can be used as a therapy to get through some of the worst moments of our life. David has created a very interesting piece that allows the audience to travel with this couple as they explore the depths of their emotions. I can imagine it being a very intense piece to watch emotionally but is one an audience will think about after they've left. Its very well done.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Divorce Lawyer's Love

Being in love with someone who's been your friend for many years is always problematic. But when you through a divorce on top of that, it was always going to get messy and emotional. That is what Peter has created so brilliantly here. The back and forth between Emily and Charles is brilliantly funny as he tries to explain his dilemma while she tries to make her case. For me, I want to know what happens after the divorce! Its a fab 2 hander that would make a great piece for a festival.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: There's A Dragon in There!

As someone who was a die hard fan of the Enid Blyton adventure books as a kid, I adored this play! Jacquelyn has created a brilliantly fabulous adventure constructed of wonderful characters telling a fabulous story that will entertain both children and adults alike. You can imagine the adventure unfolding right before your eyes and it will take you back to an age where you too once believed in dragons!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Johnnie Walker Blue Christmas

The last thing you want at Christmas is to be haunted by the ghost of bullies past but John takes this interaction, which could end horrendously and sprinkles a dose of Christmas Essence that allows the audience to experience a beautiful moment at the end. I won't say too much for fear of spoiling it but this piece is one that will make you feel warm inside, and not just from the Johnnie Walker.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Does it Bring You Joy? (A Monologue)

This wonderful monologue is a brilliant snapshot that finds you in the life of Edith as she exclaims about having nothing to wear! Its a conundrum that many women face as well as the dreaded idea of the 'clear out' but Nora brilliantly sculpts the circle of the story so that Edith tells the story of her clothes, her conundrum and the final conclusion of doing exactly what she wants to do. Its just a wonderful piece.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Best

Ok so through the first 9 pages of this script I was leaning further and further forward, desperate to know what the secret was! Bruce builds tension in a brilliant way as you watch the lie unfold. Once you as the audience are aware of the secret Bruce unfolds the details of the event expertly so you feel sorry for the wife who is going to find out about it. I can't say too much more on the story without ruining it for you but its a piece that makes you think and makes you want to know more. Enticing!
