I create the kinds of comedies that just might break your heart. Contemporary realism, aesthetics of the theatrical avant-garde, and works that find ways to play with both are among my main inspirations. My plays include winking and weird pop culture-bible-fairy tale spectacles, explorations of religion (especially Judaism) and queerness (especially bisexuality), loud music, quiet hauntings, unexpected love stories... Perhaps most of all, I write about the ways we live with loss.
