This is a terrifying and evocative play, built out of something we think we can predict, but aren't really prepared for. It's timely and timeless. This could really hit an audience in the gut, and offers a cast and production team the opportunity to stage something truly horrific and relevant. Each detail counts, and each small nuanced line just rips right through you. Well done, and thank you for this brilliant work.

What a challenge it is to write a 1-page play! The form has always intimidated me because of how precise you have to be. This play works very well, and is totally effective at storytelling. It succeeded in being intriguing and compelling with its minimization and economy. It just goes to show that sometimes less is more. Well done!

I really like the possibilities for actors presented by this piece-- you could really ramp up the creepy, horror vibe, or you could downplay and be more methodically sinister. This piece offers a lot as far as tempo, character connection, and staging possibilities. I'm always a sucker for a dark ending, too.

This is an enigmatic, moody, mysterious play with some beautiful lines and imagery, as well as two extremely intriguing parts for strong actresses. I've been mulling over it since I read it and I just love the images this play conjures up! I'd love to see what an intimate staging could lend this work.

I saw this from the sidelines as it was being worked on at the Left Edge Theatre International Short Play Fest: Hindsight 2022 (I was in the cast). I love how meditative it is, the non-linear structure, and the way its language is so natural and relatable. It's a wistful, intimate and sometimes laugh out loud piece that will work its way right into your heart and brain.

A haunting, and deeply moving piece of theatre, about a case that touched my childhood on an intimate level. This really struck a nerve with me, and I would absolutely love to see this produced. Surreal, heart-wrenching and very provocative, with well written roles for women to shine in.

I love how clever this play is, and how fun the roles must be to perform. My fellow castmates at the Left Edge Hindsight 2022 International New Short Plays Festival all cracked me up performing this piece. It's energetic, snappy, and very engrossing.

I saw this performed by an absolute powerhouse of an actress at the 2022 Hindsight International New Short Plays Festival, and it had me rolling with laughter. The actress did the voiceover work for both characters, and was brilliant in her physical characterization of Libby. I imagine if the playwright had seen this performance, she'd be absolutely floored by how powerful her work could be. The audiences all loved it as well. A true tour de force for any seasoned actress with physical comedy skills.

I had the honor of performing this piece for the Hindsight 2022 International New Short Plays Festival at Left Edge Theatre. It's a thought-provoking interlude with some beautiful language and imagery-- a play I'd love to perform again. There is a poetry to the rhythm of it which makes it very challenging to perform, and I loved seeing how the different audiences reacted to the story.

I just saw this performed by a masterful actress at the Hindsight 2022 International New Short Play Fest at Left Edge Theatre. A haunting and deeply felt performance piece for a seasoned actress, who knew exactly what to do with the gorgeous prose. This is a memorable work for sure.
