  • Pussy Paradigm

This chica has a powerful, funny, poignant voice. Her work is unique and will make you laugh one minute then cry the next. She's also unafraid to talk about pussy, and she want's you to be brave, too.

I laughed out loud several times reading this, and then was surprised by the tenderness that emerged at the end. Lovely, feminist and honestly male at the same time.

Funny and terrifying. Great protest piece, especially because it doesn't whack you over the head with doom and gloom, and might be a plausible explanation for the madness we are facing.

Touching and heartbreaking. Boyle breaks down war to it's human essence. Tragic with touches of humor that makes the ending just that much harder to bear. A lovely play for two actors.

A lovely piece that blends adventure, fantasy and science. Reminded me in the very best way Of Madeline L'Engle's work. I found the idea of suddenly standing in the snow, while still inside a New York apartment delightful. The heroine is bright and capable, the best kind of role model for a little girl. I also liked that the story wasn't wrapped up into a nice bow. These felt like real people going through difficult circumstances.
  • Tag on Toe
    26 May. 2016
Tag on Toe deals with real questions that women think about when they think about having a baby. The play challenges traditional reasons, and leaves you wondering whether anyone's motivation for having a child is "pure" Terrific parts for 2 actresses.

Funny, charming and poignant. A tour de force for a couple of great actresses.

I saw this play in Ashland and it moved me very deeply. It was sexy as hell and kept me enthralled. GREAT parts for women.

This play is fast moving, profane and SO Inland Empire. Eberwein captures the feel of the not-so-tourist friendly part of SoCal really beautifully. And the final scene is catch-your-breath exciting. A great piece for young actors.

Wow. "A Latina Prepares" describes MY LIFE!! Thank you for that Desi. Thank you for writing something for a smart, educated woman who happens to be Latina. Excellent monologue!
