I love a play that reminds you of the power of theatre - the raw, uncontrollable power of theatrical imagination, the willingness to be taken along wherever a skilled playwright wants one to go. The ending of this play left me stunned - just giddy with delight at theatrical magic and powerful playwriting. Astounding.

A fascinating premise, played absolutely straight, with emotional depth and extraordinary resonance - Peter Pan flies into the window of a grown woman, and suddenly she faces some hard choices. In lesser hands, what might have been a facile ten minute play is here a full length exploration into some powerful ideas. Claire is beautifully dimensional, Peter is - as he always has been - an alluring ideal of the wonders of a never-ending childhood that, on deeper examination, is a deadly trap. The ending will have you thinking about Claire's choices for a while.

Flexible casting, a play for teenagers - and plenty of wit, heart and pop culture references make this a must for teachers and coaches looking for a great ten minute piece for their students!
  • The Shady Lady: A Robust Blend of Privilege, Influence, and White Collar Crime

Witty satire that clips along at a great pace, as hapless workers at a dubious charity try to conceal the crimes of their embezzling boss. Lots of fun, and really ramps up the workplace comedy to epic levels!

Witty, clever, with a delightful twist at the end - and almost silent! If you're looking for a wonderful example of how much can be told without dialogue, look no further - this would be great for classroom study as well as being a part of an evening of short works, whether playing with sound, theatrical forms - or just fun workplace comedies!

If you haven't treated yourself to the off-beat, imaginative and delightful humor of a Dawson Moore play, what are you waiting for? In this one act, the old gods of Egypt tackle a modern interloper. It's an early play of Moore's that is due for a revival - lots of fun with some interesting insights along the way!

Powerful and deeply emotional. Audrey Cefaly once again showcases her talent with clean, sparse, raw - but oh-so-loaded-with-depth dialogue. A collection of interwoven stories that takes us on a journey to an emotional mountain top, and a wonderful journey it is!

This play is a masterclass in context and subtext, and a tour-de-force piece for two talented young actors. It manages - in the space of a one act - to pull in the whole world and a hundred billions stars and contain them for a brief moment. It is a heart-wrenching glimpse into lives not yet lived - two characters who haven't yet discovered what their lives may be, and are already in mourning for a profound loss. Exquisite writing.

What a beautiful twist! I, like Diana, never saw it coming - and there's something so sharp about the ending - it lands with devastating humor.

I saw the Los Angeles production - what a fantastic play. There's so much here for actors to delve into and for audiences to be swept into and take into themselves... it's an issue play that never seems to be self-conscious or overdone or obvious, it's all about these beautiful, utterly believable characters and their complex relationships to each other, but their personal journeys just happen (courtesy of the amazing writing) to navigate and illuminate a society that is weight-obsessed.
