A really fun ten-minute play with a terrific premise. I love the way HE and SHE speak to each other (so funny!) and their ingenious play to avoid adultery, which isn't exactly avoidance. This would be a fun addition to a short play festival and would be super fun to perform.

A beautiful two-hander from Warnock about love and responsibility and the struggle to let go and move on when circumstances make it difficult or even impossible. The way the characters' budding relationship develops and the way the tragedy in Mandy's life is revealed are riveting and very moving.

Astonishing play--inventive, theatrical, incredibly moving. Loved it.

I love this theatrical, darkly comic and surprising short play which has so much to say about the lingering trauma of domestic abuse. Timely and moving.

Powerful, harrowing and necessary, particularly for those of us (which should be everyone) who are fed up with the whole princess-fantasy thing and can't bear to see our kids (and grownups!) falling into those traps. I'd love to see this produced.
  • The Games We Play

I love the unusual structure of this play, and how active it is--such an unique way to present the grief of two children in the wake of losing their father to gun violence. Moving and so very well done.
  • A SHELL OF WHO SHE ONCE WAS
    6 Feb. 2019
It's rare to be able to write such an emotionally truthful play that takes place so soon after a shooting. The two female characters and their (at first) diametrically opposed needs are so effective, and the way in which they come together at the end is very moving.

What a fantastic monologue. I love the surprising way it unfolds, and when I reached the end I understood that it is, in essence, a monologue about friendship, and of the most meaningful kind. Terrific.
  • A Million Voices

Lovely monologue--I felt like I was right there, listening to this character as he tries hard to reconnect with his faith after a traumatic event. The additional voices are a really effective and haunting touch to this strong uplifting monologue.

Bublitz's taut and wonderfully unsettling ten-minute play should be performed over and over and everywhere.
