  • Catherine Weingarten: Black Hollow

Aeneas's play "Black Hollow" is sweet and haunting in all the best ways. It takes the scary and relevant topic of gun control, and explores it in a very human and fascinating way. The play is a call to action but at the same time the piece stands on it's own as gorgeous literature and a juicy and emotionally deep play for a big group of actors to sink their teeth in.

  • Catherine Weingarten: Pulling Leather: A Queer Rodeo Fantasia

A sexy and sad theatrical journey that pulled me in from the first moment. Will is a really exciting voice and captures this uncle, nephew relationship with such sweetness and repression.

  • Catherine Weingarten: FLY, BABY

A delightful short play that is holiday friendly and makes you wanna get some hot chocolate and a love interest and watch in. Gina’s naturalistic and easy dialogue rolls off the page.

  • Catherine Weingarten: FUMBLEWINTER

A zany and fun little comedic gem. Carnes' bright language and sense of play is on display here in a delightful way! The play is a little great commentary on how The Important Men in charge are still barely doing anything. This play is hurting for a group of game and goofy actors to attack it.

  • Catherine Weingarten: Galatea

Intensely romantic, funny and one of the most exciting things I’ve seen in awhile. MJ creates an adaptation that feels super contemporary and relevant to the cultural moment.

  • Catherine Weingarten: WOLFCRUSH (a queer werewolf play)

Wow! Haygen-Brice's work is so amazingly trashy and fun I can't even deal with it. This play is like watching a scary movie on acid! The language is crisp and fun and I love how everything feels chill and like real-life until suddenly it doesn't and things become terrifying. Highly theatrical and extremely baller!

  • I am such a big fan of Bowden and this play does not dissapoint! The language is effortless and beautiful and you get to spin in Elizabeth and her grandmothers mind until you can't tell who's who. The theatricality of having a character called memory onstage is also a really exciting choice that would be really rad to see in performance.

  • Catherine Weingarten: Road Trip

I could not stop reading Katherine's play! it was fun, romantic and I really was rooting for Sam and Riley as a couple. The sad and ominous overtones of what their future could be stung me like a bee and I was into it! This play would be awesome and moving in a 10 minute play fest!

  • Catherine Weingarten: Little Wishes

A really really romantic and thoughtful little play! This is kinda the teen chick fantasy...crashing at a famous singer songwriter's apartment and getting to kinda hit on him and tell him what you really think of his music. Some great wish fulfillment and longing all within 10 minutes! It's a 10 minute play that does the form right and draws you in fast.
