This play is so real and the characters jump from the page. I feel as though I know these characters just after a page or two. This play isn’t just about abortion, it’s about a couple trying to figure out how to deal with the cards they were dealt.

I would recommend this play because it is an abortion play that isn’t just about abortion. It’s about the couples shared interests as rodeo stars. I didn’t even realize that it was an abortion play until the end and it was great. As someone who is fully a theatre person, but is surrounded by yee haw family, I just totally get it and they would too. I also really enjoyed that the couple in question were married. When we usually see couples debating abortion when they’re just dating, never married. They're not required to keep it.

This was excellent! The dynamic of the two, the discussion of abortion between a married couple isn't something you usually see. I thought it was really interesting that there was a lack of anger from either party; it was like they had run through every scenario already, gone through every emotion they could. I loved the whole thing. Fantastic job.

While this play deals with complex issues, the characters are written in such a way that by the end we understand what each of them wants. My favorite part is that in the end even if Bo didn't give Cindy the support she needed she still made the final decision on her own. However, there are times where I feel her dream kept her from doing things that she really wants.

While I'm not well-versed in the comings-and-goings of the rodeo world, I know this is a good play. It has a lot of heart, and is painfully real. I understand both of their perspectives, and I just want the best for both of them.

This play is filled with fine dramatic moments as it presents the complex issue of abortion — and specifically what it means to young couples just starting out — in a nuanced and compelling way. This would be a great addition to any short play festival.
