Beautifully written play! It's an interesting look at a tough choice women have to make. There's no dancing around the subject and the playwright doesn't apologize for it. The character dynamics are definitely ones that I identify with and it's a refreshing take on a tough subject.

What a heartfelt and beautiful story. These characters and how they're written is absolutely astounding. It's clear who they are and what their dynamic is. The subject matter is really important in erasing how taboo a subject like abortion is.

This play is truly amazing! It's a play about having to make a choice for something you worked for versus a new thing you’ve never prepared for. And dynamic between the two character just makes it even better!

A beautifully written story. I loved how raw the dialogue was as well as how clear the dynamic between the two characters was. The subject matter was presented well and in an honest form. Definitely a story that will sit on my mind for a while.

I thought this play was like an interesting dance that at first subverts its real flair. While we are initially lead to believe that the story is to be focused around horse barrel racing and the stakes of winning or losing, we come to realize that there is potentially more at stake than we might have considered. Particularly, the factors surrounding human life which itself is a controversial topic due to our species' perception of life itself and all the joys as well as sorrows that come along with living it.

What strikes at the heart of this play is the simple way these two people approach a monumental choice. By simple, though, I don't mean uninformed or unintelligent. Indeed, this play depicts the discussion in a way that cuts right to what matters most to them. It is not cavalier or dismissive, nor is it overwrought with the emotional wrenching that comes with it. It is real, and that is what makes it so powerful: the hardest choices made with few words, leaving us to grasp the depth to which it takes us.

Midnight Rodeo is a perfectly crafted 10 minute play that pulls at your heart strings in a way no one would see coming. The situation unravels itself in a second and leaves the audience on the tip of their toes for what could possibly be said next. Reading this play was an absolute joy and it gives society an interesting POV to consider when dealing with the topic of abortion.

I really enjoyed reading this script! It had a wonderful build up of tension and really good characters!

A great Ten Minutes of terrific characters and a compelling story. Price has taken such a heavy subject and has explored it from a fascinating angle. The characters of this play feel fully realized and complete with relatable desires, fears, and actions. I love how valid the points that both of the characters make, it is truly a real back in forth between them.
