The world Rachel Bublitz creates is entertaining and intelligent. The relationships between each character in this piece are expertly crafted, giving a relatable mother-child relationship arc. She brings current world issues into a captivating reality with stunning visual writing.

Bublitz’s is able to include so much relevancy into her work, and I was drawn in immediately because of this. The dynamic between Dianna and her mother, Connie, is something so many can relate to. Additionally, the battles that the characters face because of climate change was so interesting to see. I feel like climate change is something that many people hear about and then brush over. Bublitz was able to shine a light on this and I am certain it will encourage readers to further educate themselves on this issue.

Bublitz brings important issues to light in this play. It's heartbreaking to see the struggles these characters go through, and to know how real it all is. There are poetic breaks in this play that allow the audience to learn characters' inner thoughts in an interesting way. I'd love to see this play performed.

Bublitz creates an amazingly terrifying world that could become a potential future and exercises her voice in how we could prevent making it a reality. The metaphors in Red Days are thought-provoking and will live in my mind, and every reader's mind, for a very, very long time. With this story, Bublitz also highlights the relationship between a single mother and daughter, a topic she could pinpoint accurately while creating a heartwarming aspect. The characters in this work are bound to connect with any reader. Red Days was a fascinating read; I couldn't recommend Rachel Bublitz enough. 

Red Days tackles an issue that surrounds us every day by forcing us to confront the future reality if nothing is done about it, through the eyes of someone who wants to believe it's not too late. It accosts the reader do something, rather than continue to parrot the indifferent shrugging off of the earth many characters inside the play do and gives us a blueprint through the main character. Relevant read for everyone, as it concerns the world we all share. Overall very good read, I highly recommend!

I think it's amazing how much this play foreshadows the future and how people think today. From the mom's perspective, it captures how much she anticipates that life can't stop regardless of what is happening in the world. That mindset truly affects her daughter and everyone else around her. Something that is 100% relatable today.

I highly recommend Red Days, because right from the beginning it had my attention. When I read this I couldn't put it down. This play emphasizes the importance it is to take care of the world around you. I also enjoyed being able to see something new but have it feel so relatable. The dialogue between all the characters actually feels like what you would hear in every day conversations. This is a MUST READ!

Red Days takes a very real issue and puts it into perspective if something is not done. Bublitz makes you hate, love, care for and worry about the characters that have been created within this story. This is a must read for anyone that truly cares about the environment and our planet.

This play is intriguing, entertaining, and RELEVANT! I loved how realistic this script was, but still so fantastic and otherworldly. The truth is this play addresses a reality that many of us don’t have to deal with. Yet. I learned so much from this piece, and if you’re an environmentalist like me, that’s all the more reason you should read this play!!

Red Days shows a possible future where the air pollution is so thick that it’s killing. It presents this in a way so powerful that it makes you want to take Dianna’s advice and start biking everywhere you go. While the overall theme of climate change is enough to make this play an enjoyable read, Bublitz includes themes of fatphobia, toxic relationships and activism that makes it impossible to put down. Overall, Red Days is a story that will make you do whatever it takes to prevent being frogs set to boil.
