What a wickedly funny play! I love the beginning moments, and when they lose it and fall out of character in the middle, and the ending is UpROARiously Funny! I woke my puppy laughing. Donnelly is very precise and sets us up for every twist that all harkens back to the classic we all know. I did not see the end coming, and I am so thankful for that!

O So Much Fun! YES - I have been this parent! Little Sydney is fabulous - my son was fabulous at 7 too. I remember it well. Now it's sheer hell! But read and produce this play - it really made my day! (I am stuck in a rhyme - please excuse me this time.) N.B. Hayet's play does not rhyme; it's my problem, I'm working on it...

This strange evocative play is haunting and harrowing. Carnes is able to do so much in an extremely economical style. Stunning!

I love how the older girl character is revealed to us through the eyes of her new foster mom. It is a Christmas story that gives us hope because there is a real possibility of healing here. Beautifully done!

GORGEOUS piece of theatre that I wish I could see live/live! Here is a ritual for healing that is necessary, profound, and reimagines all kinds of canonical work to make it new and female and fabulous! I want to read it over and over!

So much fun for the holidays! Takes the spirit of the season and turns it into dark comedy! Elves and little girls - there is nothing more sinister! And Ms. Rogers seems to have a great knack for showing us how innocence can do such evil - Beware, and pee before reading if you're a hard laugher!

What fun! And for actors over 60! Such a necessary and hilarious play with a great ending. Read, produce, repeat!

Great short that packs a punch! Love how it seems to randomly ramp itself up into a very big moment. Must read - MUST PRODUCE! The more often, the better!

I can't help rooting for a Christmas miracle as this unsentimental yet poignant play evolves with its damaged characters and their broken hearts. There are moments of real kindness here that shine through the muck of real life and might help - if not the characters, then those of us in the audience. A gem!

Such a warm and delightful comic play - I love the characters and their personal struggles and how these struggles organically arrive to change the course of things. I also thought Caroline was really funny even though she's not what Guy might think of as funny. The humor is there but in an unexpected way. And the deep reasons for it all make it that much more worthwhile. Great work!
